Portland, Oregon, the City of Roses, is where our journey begins. We will explore 200 miles of stunning coastline, cross the Coastal and Cascade Mountain Ranges, and visit gorgeous Crater Lake National Park. We will also enjoy a dramatic ride through Oregon's High Desert region, and a stop in the charming Western town of Sisters, Oregon. Come explore the amazing variety Oregon has to offer!

HIGHLIGHTS: Pacific Ocean, Crater Lake, Coastal and Cascade Mountain Ranges, alpine lakes,        Mt Hood, Timberline Lodge and the Columbia River.

Day 1 - Arrive in Portland, OR

First we will get together for drinks and hors d'oeuvres the night before we leave to get acquainted with each other, finish any last minute paperwork, establish a group riding style, review the route, and discuss any final details.

Day 2 - Hit the Beach (Portland to Newport)

Our first day of riding we will travel west through the coastal mountains and see the awe-inspiring Pacific Ocean before noon! We'll spend 100 miles exploring Highway 101 along the coast. Our exciting day ends in Newport with a group dinner on the Oregon coast.

Day 3 - See the Sea (Newport to Bandon)

We begin the next day heading south along the coast. As we travel, the ocean views vary dramatically due to often changing elevation. One moment riding right beside the beach, the next along cliffs a few hundred feet above sea level. There will be many photographic opportunities including historic lighthouses and the Oregon Dunes. Scenic beauty and coastal charm await us as we approach our destination in the town of Bandon.

Day 4 - From the Ocean into the Volcano (Bandon to Crater Lake)

Our third riding day will cut across to the center of the state, going from the Pacific Ocean, through the coastal mountains, and into the high desert of Central Oregon. We'll end our day at the top of the volcano Mount Mazama which contains Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States.

Day 5 - Mountain Lakes to a Western Town (Crater Lake to Sisters)

We begin the day by riding the 33-mile Crater Lake Rim Drive. Much of our day is spent riding among the lakes and mountains that dot this beautiful part of the state. We end up in the western-themed town of Sisters. Many shops, cafes, and restaurants line the main street of this quaint town, where y'all will be wishin' you'd packed your cowboy boots!

Day 6 - Lunch on a Volcano (Sisters to Portland)

Just because it's our last day of riding, doesn't mean we don't have a lot to see! We'll enjoy the transitions from high desert, to mountains, to valley. Lunch at nearly 6,000ft will be at the historic Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, the tallest mountain in Oregon. We will unpack and unwind in Portland with a farewell dinner with new friends and new memories.

Day 7 - Depart Portland

Our fantastic time together is over, but there are many things to see in Portland and the Pacific Northwest. Feel free to stick around and explore on your own. If you want to extend your motorcycle rental just let us know and we'll set it up.
